Vatican Art & Breakfast
Exclusive Breakfast and Early Access to the Vatican Museums
You will LOVE our Cancellation Policy
Start your day at the Vatican Museums with a nice breakfast in this exclusive setting and enjoy early access to the galleries and the Sistine Chapel.
Meet your guide at your hotel (6:30AM recommended) and then travel together to the Vatican ahead of even our Early Bird Tour starting time (8:00AM), so you can be among the first to enter the museums and enjoy a lovely buffet breakfast to start your Vatican adventure.
Your lavish breakfast will take place outdoors, most likely in the famous Pinecone Courtyard while the Vatican Museums are still closed to the rest of the public. Follow your expert private guide through galleries full of artwork and masterpieces: statues, paintings, and tapestries are found throughout this maze of treasures. Embrace the Art without the congestion of standard museum opening hours for a more relaxing experience that will allow you to take unforgettable pictures and experience a better connection with the fascinating artwork all around you.
Among the many treasures you will find within are the Gallery of Tapestries, and the Gallery of Maps, containing a series of painted topographical maps of Italy. If you want to enjoy more of this impressive collection of stunning artwork you can choose to extend your tour and visit the famous Raphael Rooms.
Follow your tour guide along your itinerary to the Sistine Chapel. Marvel at the masterpieces by Michelangelo far from the crowds. Head inside St. Peter’s Basilica and admire the masterpiece by Bernini, the Baldachin, and Michelangelo's Pietà.

My wife and I booked the Art & Breakfast tour of the Vatican and absolutely loved it. Our guide picked us up at our hotel and got us over to the Vatican in about 5 minutes! We were some of the first guests to enter the Museums, and we headed straight to breakfast- in the famous Pine Courtyard, with almost no one around. The breakfast was great- the best we had while in Rome! We were able to eat in peace while hearing stories of the Vatican and the masterpieces inside, while enjoying nice, strong coffee. After breakfast we continued through the museums on our way to the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica. We ended up extending our time with our guide so we could visit the Raphael Rooms and the Cupola of St. Peter's Basilica and take in the most amazing view of Rome. It was truly an amazing experience, and many thanks to our guide Stefania for making it truly memorable and even fun!

I just want to say that this was such a cool way to enjoy the Vatican, and it was great to sit back and eat in the Pine Courtyard with very few people around. After breakfast we were refreshed and did the Vatican Museums, Raphael Rooms, Sistine Chapel (of course!) before seeing St. Peter’s Basilica. Good morning, and great tour!

Hello Eyes of Rome Team, I should arrive in Rome Fiumicino on 3/17 at 8pm approx. and I would like to book the tour of the Vatican Museums with breakfast. The only day available for a quick visit of the city will be March 18th. I have already booked your Private tour of the Colosseum and Roman Forum. I'm thinking about the best option for the morning. I'm really afraid that after an intercontinental flight meeting the guide at 6:30am could be a problem. Is it worth to wake up that early? Also, I would like to book a hotel right near the Vatican Museums... do you have any recommendations?
Best,
Martha

Ciao Martha! Your question is really interesting! Maybe it will be a little heavy to wake up early in the morning after a long flight, but trust us, it's worth it. You'll have the chance to admire the wonders of the Vatican Museums one hour before the general opening (9 am)! The breakfast buffet is a delight :) There are many products coming directly from the farms of the Pope.. a genuine Espresso will help you to energetically face the day!
Regarding our suggested Hotels, we recommend you to take a look at our dedicated help center section Suggestions -> Places to Stay
Please contact us as soon as you have chosen the ideal hotel for your stay in Rome so we'll be able to agree with you the starting time of the tour (if your hotel will be nearby the Museums' entrance we could lightly postpone the meeting time) and please note that a hotel booked near the Museums will allow you to relax a bit before starting your Colosseum tour!A presto!
