  • The Pantheon embodies timeless grandeur, where ancient harmony and divine proportions still resonate under its vast dome. Our private tours let you experience its enduring beauty with the elegance and depth this extraordinary monument deserves.
  • Piazza Navona is littered with Baroque masterpieces, including those of the world famous "Bernini" The area was originally used as an Athletics stadium in the year of 80 AD under Emperor Titus, which later turned into the city's market in the 1500's. The square has kept its original shape and the surrounding buildings were erected upon the ancient crowd stand foundations. f
  • The backdrop to many classic films such as "Roman Holiday" and "La Dolce Vita" the fountain is the biggest of its kind in Rome. Work on the fountain started in 1732 after the Popes competition during the Baroque era to build something as beautiful as the Spanish Steps. The creator of the world famous fountain actually didn't win the contest but due to the outcry in Rome over a Florentine having won, Nicola Salvi was given the go ahead!
  • A picture with the Spanish Steps in the background is a must do in Rome! This modern monument was arranged three centuries ago in order to find an architectural connection between the Fountain of the Barcaccia on the street level, by Pietro Bernini, and the Renaissance church standing on the top of the slope. The Spanish Steps are unique for their unusual plan and shape designed by Alessandro Specchi and Francesco De Sanctis. Traditional icon of the Italian Dolce Vita, the Spanish Steps cannot be missed during a visit to the Eternal city.

Tour description

Discover the essence of Rome’s historic center on this private walking tour, designed for travelers who want to experience the Eternal City’s most celebrated landmarks in a limited amount of time, without giving up depth or quality.

Led by an Official Private Guide, the tour unfolds entirely on foot through a compact and richly layered area of the city. With skip-the-line tickets to the Pantheon included, the experience flows smoothly, allowing you to focus on history, art, and atmosphere rather than logistics.

The journey begins at the Pantheon, one of the best-preserved monuments of ancient Rome and a masterpiece of engineering. Inside, your guide explains the meaning of its perfect proportions, the function of the oculus, and the reasons why this former pagan temple has survived almost intact for nearly two thousand years.

From here, you continue to Piazza Navona, built over the remains of an ancient Roman stadium and transformed into one of Rome’s most elegant Baroque squares. Surrounded by fountains, palaces, and lively street life, this square reveals how ancient structures were reused and reshaped across centuries.

The walk proceeds to the Trevi Fountain, where you pause to admire its dramatic architecture and sculptural richness. As tradition suggests, you have the chance to toss a coin into the fountain, a symbolic gesture tied to Rome’s enduring charm.

The tour concludes at the Spanish Steps, one of the city’s most recognizable urban spaces. From the top of the staircase, you enjoy views over the surrounding streets and gain insight into the area’s historical role as a meeting point for travelers, artists, and local life.

This private express tour offers a clear, engaging introduction to central Rome, ideal for first-time visitors or anyone seeking a focused and memorable walking experience.
