The experience opens with a guided visit to the market in Alba’s historic center. Walking among the stalls, your guide introduces you to seasonal produce, typical local ingredients, and everyday market traditions. This first part of the morning provides essential context, helping you understand how regional dishes are shaped by availability, seasonality, and local habits.

After the market visit, you move to a fully equipped kitchen where the cooking class takes place. Led by a qualified chef, the session focuses on preparing traditional Langhe recipes, following methods used in home cooking rather than restaurant-style techniques. Each step is explained clearly, and the class remains fully interactive, allowing you to participate actively in every phase of preparation. Recipes are shared, and English translation is provided throughout.

Once the cooking is complete, you sit down for lunch featuring the dishes you have prepared, served with house wine in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. This final moment brings everything together, turning learning into a shared experience centered on taste and conversation.

The activity lasts approximately 4.5 hours and takes place on Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday mornings, starting at 9:30 am.
