Langhe: Private Cooking Class with Local Market Visit

Enjoy a half-day private cooking experience in the Langhe, designed to take you from the local market straight to the table. This hands-on activity combines food culture, practical learning, and shared flavors, offering a direct connection to local traditions.

The experience begins with a guided walk through the Alba town center market, where an expert guide introduces seasonal products, local ingredients, and market customs. This narrated visit provides context and insight into the raw materials that define regional cuisine.

After the market visit, you move to a fully equipped kitchen for a cooking class led by a qualified chef. Step by step, you prepare typical local recipes, learning techniques and methods used in everyday regional cooking. The class is interactive and practical, allowing you to actively take part in every phase of preparation. Recipes are provided, and English translation is available throughout the experience.

The activity concludes with lunch featuring the dishes you have prepared, accompanied by house wine. The experience lasts approximately 4.5 hours and is available on Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday mornings, starting at 9:30 am.

This cooking class offers a direct and authentic way to experience Langhe cuisine, combining market knowledge, hands-on cooking, and shared dining in a relaxed setting.
