Discover the heart of the Langhe UNESCO landscapes on this full-day private tour dedicated to Barolo wine, historic wineries, and refined local cuisine. Traveling comfortably with a private driver and elegant car, you explore one of Italy’s most celebrated wine regions at a relaxed and curated pace.
Your day begins with a private pick-up from Alba or nearby surroundings, directly at your accommodation. The first stop leads you to Canelli, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you enjoy a private visit to a winery set inside an Underground Cathedral. During the visit, you explore the impressive subterranean spaces carved into the hills and conclude with a guided wine tasting.
Late morning gives way to a lunch in an elegant restaurant, featuring a four-course tasting menu inspired by local traditions. This pause offers time to relax and enjoy the atmosphere of the Langhe before continuing the afternoon program.
In the early afternoon, the tour proceeds with a private visit to a prestigious Barolo winery, where you learn about the production of one of Italy’s most iconic wines and enjoy a dedicated tasting session.
The experience continues with admission to Grinzane Cavour Castle, another UNESCO-listed site closely linked to the history of Barolo. Equipped with an audio guide, you explore the castle and its role in shaping the wine culture of the region.
