The decorations and colours used in Duomo square are a clear reference to this rivalry that can still be seen to this day.
  • San Gimignano is worldwide famous to be one of the most well preserved medieval cities of Europe, featuring an iconic skyline made up of 14 original towers, mainly erected around the XIII century. The tallest one is the so called “Torre del Podestà” and it is 150 feet tall. Enjoy this time travel and learn the secret of lost traditions, rituals, events and recipes.
  • One of the must see highlights of Tuscany. Siena's historic centre is so beautiful and rich in medieval history, the entire centre is protected under UNESCO. The Medieval past is regularly showed with pride at the twice a year horse show, "il palio" - The city also carries a vast and deep rivalry with the capital of Tuscany, Florence, of which can be noticed throughout the various building designs.
  • Piazza del Campo in Siena, renowned for its distinctive fan shape, is one of Italy’s most revered public spaces. It’s the heart of the city and the venue for the famous Palio horse race. Flanked by inviting cafes and impressive Gothic architecture like the Palazzo Pubblico and Torre del Mangia, it's steeped in a rich history and vibrant local culture.
  • Siena's Duomo, also known as the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, is one of Italy's most impressive cathedral structures. Known for its impressive gothic architecture and white-black marble facade, it houses remarkable artworks including Nicola Pisano's pulpit, Duccio's stained glass window, and a magnificent inlaid marble floor.
