Truffle Hunt with Lunch & Wine Experience in Tuscany

From your Florence pick up, enjoy a unique activity in Tuscany. Not many people get the chance to go truffle hunting with a professional and dogs in tow. We will collect you from your Florence hotel either in the morning or late afternoon and bring you on this special walk through the Tuscan forest. You'll be with your Private Truffle hunter for 4 hours and walking with the dogs for roughly 1.5 hours. You'll get an introduction and some history on the activity as well as intricate secrets about the truffles, including insights on the environment and truffle biological cycles. You'll be shown how the specialised dogs are trained to be skilled in Truffle hunting, just make sure to grab the truffle from the dog before it gets eaten! Your local, private, truffle hunter will teach you the old traditions and techniques still used today, in order to discover the precious delicacy. After the hunt, head back for a Truffle based lunch! Which includes Salumi, truffle oil on bread, handmade pasta mixed with the days findings and 4 wine tastings of the best local wine that goes with the local delicacy.

• For no shows on the day of the tour or cancellations/amendments requested less than 7 days from the tour starting time, Eyes of Rome reserves the right to hold the amount paid during check out and charge any remaining balance for incomplete payments
