  • The city of Livorno flourished under the Medici family, who turned it into a prosperous port. In the late 16th century Livorno was officially given the status of city and the architect Bernardo Buontalenti designed the city as an 'ideal town' with a population of 20,000 and a port that could hold 300 ships.
  • Discover the heart of Florence, a captivating world of Renaissance marvels. Immerse yourself in the charming streets, where local wood and leather craftsmen showcase their artistry. Indulge in delectable local meat at renowned eateries. Uncover the essence of Florence's rich heritage in every corner of the city center
  • Experience the vibrant heart of Florence at the Piazza, a central meeting point adorned with a wealth of statues, including the intriguing 'fake David.' Beyond its artistic allure, the Piazza strategically connects to key landmarks such as Palazzo Vecchio, the Uffizi Gallery, and provides a direct route to the iconic Duomo. Immerse yourself in the cultural richness of Florence, where history and art converge in this centrally positioned hub.
  • In Piazza della Signoria, the main square of Florence, there is a remarkable monument named “Loggia dei Lanzi”, embellished with stunning masterpieces in bronze and marble, sculpted by masters from the Renaissance era. Going to this loggia, that was used for the public meetings, you will get in touch with the beauties of the golden age of Florence.
  • Discover the enchanting Ponte Vecchio, a medieval stone bridge celebrated globally for its beauty and unique charm. This iconic structure remains a vibrant center of local activity, with artisans and businesses still thriving on its storied surface. Unveiling a touch of mystery, the Ponte Vecchio is intricately linked to the 'Corridoio Vasariano.' Remarkably, during World War II, it escaped destruction as Hitler, in a rare decision, spared this bridge, attributing its preservation to its unparalleled beauty. Learn about its historical significance and the local tales surrounding its survival, making it a must-visit landmark in Florence.
  • Considered as one of the most important sculpture museums in the world, not just Florence. Located in close proximity of the Florence Fine Art Academy, hence its name and function as a drawing laboratory for artists of any time. It houses the highest number of sculptures by Michelangelo —seven works, including the world-famous David, along with priceless masterpieces and works of art spread over two floors, and thus presenting a photograph of early-Renaissance art and its heritage.
  • Home to a vast collection of priceless artwork, notably from the Italian Renaissance age. The Uffizi is one of the largest museums in the Western world. The gallery is littered with ex medici work as well as masterpieces from Caravaggio's Tiziano and Tintoretto to the stunning Leonardo da Vinci’s Annunciation and Adoration of the Magi. A true gem of the Western World and Italian heritage!
