If I was a phrase I would be:
And when he had said something, finished up by saying: "If I'm wrong, put me right." And so I began to understand that you didn't speak for the sake of speaking, to say that you had done this or that, what you had eaten or drunk, but to work out an idea, to find out what makes the world go round.
Hi! My name is Valeria. I am an art historian with a specialization in architectural history. I studied in Rome, where I was born. I grew up in Ostia, the seaside of Rome, close to the ruins of Rome’s ancient harbour, Ostia Antica. I started to feel the interest and the passion for the historical past during my childhood, when I went there several times with my father. Living there I learn to love the sea and the beautiful sunsets, that I used to look walking on the beach. Together with the history and the sea, what I really like is running, another passion that started when I was a young girl.
Going back to my studies, my interests during the university’s years went on modern art and architecture, therefore I worked few years in a modern art museum in Rome. By the way I never stopped to be focused on the complex and fascinating history of Rome and to keep on learning about it. Because of the love for my city, during my tours I try to give to my guests a comprehensive idea and some peculiar points of view on the city and his history.
Being a tourguide is...
...bringing you to discover Rome and sharing what I learnt in order to see Rome with new eyes.
